[quote name='funnycar' post='235308' date='9/9/2009, 08:04']@ sf18c: awesome video!
first: your launch it's very good, better than many other with more torque;
second: yes you need racing tires (at how many psi were your tires inflated?);
third: perhaps I'm wrong, but what about a little one inch wheelbase less on the right side?
Thanks of being there!!!

Franco?yes my tires were very worn out from 15 laps at the Nurburg Ring, almost 13000 miles on them. I was running 20? GoodYear F1s at 22 PSI. I have new Nitto Street/Drags tires on order but they didn?t make it to me before the Hills Race. So I went with what I had, but my 60fts were terrible; 2.1 to 2.5 seconds. I do plan to get some 18" M&H drag tires soon. Plus I need to work more on my launch, I need better RTs! Thanks for the input. As always it is a lot of fun racing with you guys! For me it is not about winning, just having fun and trying to get this car to make a 12 second pass!
Ron?I was kinda hoping to see you there. I hope you are doing good and keeping that Camaro running!
Chris?you are my new inspiration! I have been showing the video at work telling everyone how BAD your Bullitt is! Yes, drag tires first and then I am looking at some kind of Forced Induction set up!
