Muncie SM420 Manual Transmission Overhaul Kit

Borg Warner transmissions are covered in this section SM420's, rear wheel drive (RWD), This transmission was used by General Motors in Chevrolet and GMC Pickup trucks from 1954 to 1967 requiring 4 speed applications.

IDENTIFICATION - SM420 4spd, RWD or 4WD Top loaded, tower shift "granny-low" transmission found in light and heavy duty applications. Cast iron case with cast iron top cover. Non-synchronized 1st, but has only brass type synchro rings for 3rd/4th. All gears on the countershaft are removeable except for 1st. Early units have threads on the input shaft and do not have a front seal. The case has one P.T.O opening.

sai che il casting del motore che ho portato casa menziona pick up
